QUARTER NOTES with EIGHTH NOTES
Set the metronome at 60 BPM, and then Count and Clap the following measures:
Start Metronome
Listen to Rhythm
Remember to place beat emphasis on the first count of each measure, on the down-beat.

Repeat the 8 measure exercise above, at different tempos a minimum of 3 times – correctly.

Work to perfect precise and even performance of the eighth notes, remaining steady throughout.

Now, let’s add sixteenth notes to the next Rhythm Work-Out.

Everyone can easily count to four. During these exercises you will count repeated patterns of 1-2-3-4.
At the end of the Rhythm Work-Outs, there will be a Clapping and Counting Achievement Exam.
