Tales recounted events, shared traditions, and even contained word origins relating to numbers.

When I was in school, some of my best teachers required that students write in the style of telling a story, or a tale.

This enjoyable, creative-writing approach made memorizing information fun and easier to remember.

Let me say this, while preparing the tale, I allowed myself some ‘artistic liberty’ in order to make the story more interesting.

Who really knows? Maybe it could have happened in a similar way.
